I'm being honest. I cannot even pretend to draw on the same deep emotions about the game tonight that I had for so long. It's still the hated Lakers and I still want us to win but I don't find myself going to the extent I once did to get ready to watch the game BECAUSE it's the Kings-Lakers. Of course, it could just be that I've gotten old, too. ;)
I get where you're coming from, but I can't agree. My hatred of the gd lakers is like a Class D fire: it doesn't go out, even if it's underwater.

Maybe he's excited for a young guy who's had an extremely difficult life and family cirmumstances, who is now getting an opportunity to improve his career
We can go with that... or we can go with business as usual for Grant, toadying up to the newest player and asking leading questions that allow OJ to say exactly what Grant thinks we all want to hear.

Personally, I would have liked to hear him say he's just glad to get a chance to stay in the NBA, but maybe I'm just fed up with anything Grant Napear says or does and OJ is collateral damage.

Believe me I still hate them. I can't stop now. Remember, I was a Celtics fan before the Kings came into the picture. As I just mentioned, however, maybe I'm just in a bad mood...and hearing Jerry Reynolds talk about the brilliance that is the Lakers isn't helping any.

Good grief.

I wonder if Jerry thinks that kind of statement will make him seem "objective" and somewhat neutral in his "analysis" of these Kings games? LOL ;)

I wasn't aware of what you were talking about until I went to Wikipedia. After reading his bio, I wish OJ all the luck in the world. I hope we're just what he needs and vice versa.

Wow I just read that as well, I liked him from the SL but now like you think this guy deserves the best and wish him luck.

This game, thus far, is like watching paint dry...but without the suspense of wondering whether said paint will be darker or lighter once it dries.

Come on, Kings. Entertain us!

Is it just me or does it look terribly wrong to see our Kings in their home whites on the Staples court? NICE JOB RAY!!!!!
