[Game] Kings v. Warriors - 12/1/13 - 3 p.m. (PST)

I, personally, am still interested. Therefore, I will continue to watch and post. That makes sense. Saying you've completely lost interest would be an indicator that you're going to do something else... Then why not just walk away from the computer?
i guess i just said that because i caught myself browsing the interweb and kind of forgetting that the game was even on for a few minutes lol

could have been worst than being down by 10. Well we see the starters at the beginning of the 4th? Just play a 2 man game with DMC on the post and a shooter outside and make GS work on D for the first 2 poss.

Much has been made about the Kings need for an interior defender / shotblocker.

This is still true.

That being said, Cousins and JT have done a much better job locking down the paint and defending interior scorers than the starting guards have done defending the perimeter. That's been a bigger issue all year.

The thing about Thompson, and the reason why he's not effective as a second big is because, while he's an above average man defender in the post, he's a below average help defender, mainly due to the fact that he doesn't block shots or draw charges. He's also pretty good at keeping his man from blowing past him from the perimeter, but he's not so good at boxing out.

I still say that he's a good buy for what he does. Or, he would be, if we had a legit second big. Which, unfortunately, we do not.

Yeah. The penetration that the guards are allowing is terrible for any team defense hopes. It's what's leading to the high 3pt% that the Kings are giving up. Guards give up penetration, the middle and wings collapse, and it results in kickouts for wide open threes.

Not sure what you're trying to say but Warriors fans have had large numbers in attendance at Sleep Train for a couple of years now.
I'm saying they're bandwagon fans. There have always been more Lakers fans than Warriors fans in Sacramento, and the Lakers fans weren't this loud.

i can definitely confirm this. i was at the first game of last season against Warriors, before anyone thought they were a playoff team. and there were TONS of obnoxious warrior fans from the bay
