Your Monarch's Lineup:

#1
Who do you want for the magic 11? Now that we have our very own CP3, who do you want for the rest? Note that since this is a semi-realistic fantasy scenario, you may add a free-agent signing if you think a player is available. Just don't do anything like, well....sign LJ or DT or the other CP3 and stuff like that...must be within reason.

#2
PG: Ticha/(Lawson)
SG: Lawson/(Newton or Robinson)/(Miao or a shooter)
SF: Powell/Maiga-ba
PF: Brunson/Walker/Kelly
C: Paris/Harper

Thats, what I think, atleast.

I see Lawson playing back up PG. Ticha should be able to play 25-28 or so mins, I hope. Lawson can play the remaining at back up (12-15 or so mins, and another 15 mins at the 2. The remaining time can be split between the other 2 back ups and sometimes Maiga.

#3
PG - Ticha
SG - Lawson
SF - Powell
PF - Walker
C - Brunson
Bench - Paris, Harper, Kelly, Maiga-Ba (and a fight for the last two positions between Newton, Robinson, Miao and Allen)

That's pretty much what I have thought about the line-up. Agree with either Newton or Scholanda, I'll say Newton cause I think no one would pick up Scho (even though I like her), but someone might pick up Chelsea. That last spot needs to go to someone who has at least some PG skills and can shoot. If Miao proves she can do both, then she can have the spot. I always wanted the M's to try and get Noelle Quinn, I think she's on the bubble with the Lynx with Kelly Milller and Montgomery there now, so maybe we could get her with a 2nd rounder next year?

I was interested in bringing in Noelle Quinn...last year. Since then, she has shown herself unable to hold down a WNBA position. We all knew she was slow and out of shape when she first entered the league. Now, on top of that, she's unable to consistently knock down shots and turns the ball over way too much for a primary ballhandler. As a former lottery pick, she's had chances galore to lock up a WNBA role. It looked as though she might have done so after Harding went down in July 2007, but she returned to the team in 2008 with a lack of focus and even worse conditioning. With Harding injured again, Quinn was given every opportunity to solidify the point guard position...but didn't. By the time Harding worked her way back into the starting line-up (and doing a pretty horrible job at the point in the process), Quinn had fallen completely out of the rotation. How does a former lottery pick go from starting to not even being rotation worthy in less than three months time?

I wouldn't take her unless Minnesota waived her, and even then I wouldn't want her here. She's had plenty of chances to prove she belongs at this level, but the only thing keeping her here is her high draft status (that was not warranted based on her team's abysmal play her senior year). I'd rather bring in free agents who are ready to compete for a spot in this league.

I wasn't even interested in Quinn last year. Her rookie year? Totally interested.

You might be able to construct one or two expansion teams with the players likely to be cut this pre-season. I'll wait and bargain shop.
