Just came across this article:

According to a probable cause affidavit, a trusted police informant identified Memphis Grizzlie player Zach Randolph as a major marijuana supplier in Indianapolis, 6News' Jack Rinehart reported.


Narcotics officers were staking out a suspected drug house on Indianapolis' north side two weeks ago when they pulled over Arthur Boyd, 32, soon after he left the residence, near 75th Street and Binford Avenue, police said.


According to the affidavit, the Cadillac Escalade that Boyd was driving was registered to Randolph, and police found marijuana and ammunition stowed inside.

When you're making $10+ millions a year, I figure the last thing you need to do is to deal drugs. I have a hard time believing that anyone is that stupid. But then again, Randolph never struck me as the smartest guy around. If this is true, someone's NBA career may be over.

Meanwhile, Brandon Jennings (as much as I think he is a dooooooosh) drives a Focus and rents a small apartment near the practice facility in Milwaukee, where he jogs to work. He didn't get it in college and he didn't get it in high school, so I'm gonna credit his mom for putting some financial brains in that boy. If only it translated to the rest of his life on and off the court.
