Who do you think wins the gold in Beijing?

I am going out on a limb and saying Germany wins the Gold. I don't even think USA will make it to the finals and might only come home with the bronze again. A lot of the players this time around (like last time) are "me first" type players who might not play well together. There is a thing as too many good players on a team.

The original Dream team would mop the floor with this team. They knew the meaning of teamwork. These guys probably don't.

I am leaving off two teams (max 10 in the poll) that I don't think have a chance i.e. Angola, and Iran.

Germany barely made it to the Olympics.I don't think they can do anything serious.USA,Spain,Russia and Argentina will be in the semi-finals and if USA really has good chemistry,they are going to win.Otherwise,it will be dramatic.

I disagree. Our team has been together for a while now, and from what I've seen and read, they've really developed an espirit de corps. I don't think we're going to see the selfishness we witnessed from Athens. And no, there isn't such a thing as too many good players on a TEAM. There can be too many good players assembled to try and be a team. If they accomplish it, however, the sky is the limit.

I think after Athens combined with the new commitment program they set up will, and has, had our players responding with tougher defense and better team play. I think the players pride was hurt. Thats not something these guys lose sense of when they are earning millions.
