What's the point of watching the rest of the games?

I been a fan since 91, so you can't say I'm a troll. I'm a real die hard fan who has bobbleheads, autographs, jerseys, ect.
I just don't see the point really in watching these games if there just going to Leave That's like moving in with your ex gf and she has a bf.
I want to root for them but after finding out there probably going to move, I just don't feel the passion that I had for them throughout all these years.

None. I haven't watched a game in the last week and have no plans to watch anymore. Last game I watched, it just made me sad. The only reason I'm still posting here is just to vent.

If I knew the world was going to end in 2012 I'd rather live it up and party till the end as opposed to killing myself now.

Because if you are a true die hard fan then you never give up on the Sacramento kings until they pack the moving vans. Go Kings!

Tonight is the first time in almost 10 years I have not watched a game or listened to it. It was like I was addicted to it or something because I was wanting to turn on the TV OVER AND OVER but I didn't! I stayed strong..

I tried but i can't. I watch NBA games because they make me happy, not to get all depressed which is what watching The Kings does to me now.

Tonight's game was one of the best performances by a King I've seen all year. Cousins!!! You can take your ball and go home or enjoy what there is. I truly don't care because I have become used to fans willing only to give a half effort when things aren't going right. GIVE UP! That's why we are where we are. Too much whining and too little action.

The fact that I *was* interested in tonight's game makes me wonder if maybe I could continue to be a fan of the ________ Kings regardless of where they end up...

Word!

If people don't want to watch, no one is forcing them to. If this is the sort of fans we have, then we are better off without them!

I agree, great for me. Bad for you.
Not really. See it actually hurts to watch them for me. Since I have actually gone to games and given the team my money and supported them in real life, where as you have only done so on tv and you are calling the people who actually supported the team in real life fairweather fans? Give me a break. I had a streak of 3 years where I didnt miss a single game, 06, 07, and 08. 2 of those were not even playoff games. I watched every single game that I could before that and I have gone to multiple games with my mom and my cousin. Hell, I even went to a Kings game on my 16th birthday. I also went to the last 3 draft parties they had. I've been watching them since I was 8. So if you want to act like I'm a fairweather fan, what does that make you since you never went as much as I did to actually see them play and pay money to support them(no NBA league pass doesnt count IMO)?

Yes, the Sacramento Kings will actually be better off without the fans who have sold out 17/26 seasons in Sac and pay top 5 ticket prices for a team that's won 56 games in the last 3 years. That really makes sense:rolleyes:

Laugh out loud your funny. I don't recall calling you a "fairweather" fan. Thanks for putting words in my mouth homie, no doubt good looking out. Besides all that, I'd say it would be quite difficult to drive up to Sac every home game from Phoenix, don't you think? I go to the games they come here and I have been for the past 4 years so I atleast get to watch them twice a year. I haven't missed a game since 04 or 05 so don't be making speculations about what kind of fan I am. I didn't do that to you so it's only fair you don't do the same here unless you want to start up something over nothing. And yes, NBA League Pass does count, why? because you pay every year 180 something to just watch YOUR team play since you don't live in the city where they play their home games so it does show loyalty. Why would I waste my own money watching a lottery team? Because I'm a fan perhaps?

My thought is -- if you're still posting regularly on a Kings fan message board after the frustration of the past 5+ seasons -- well, you're definitely *not* a fair weather fan. :)

Sorry that's just the attitude that I felt like you had and Carolijas post pissed me off even further. I dont mean you're a fairweather fan but its not cool to throw the "good for me, bad for you" thing back in my face dude. That's a jerk move IMO, and you might not be a jerk but it feels like you're rubbing it in. I'm about to lose(as well as a bunch of other people here) a huge part of my life, and my childhood, and it hurts like hell. And you dont know how that feels. So it would probably be better if you kept comments like that to yourself.

lol We're cool, its a bit of a misunderstanding I guess. I hope one day we can get another team in Sac or they come back or something. I tried watching tonight but it hurt to bad and felt pointless. I'll probably still watch the home games that are left to see if the fans can guilt the Magoof bros some more.
