This is not just about some basketball team. This is about our basketball team. A team most of us have spent the better part of our lives rooting for, defending, and following non stop no matter what. So far, everyone I've talked to about this whole situation just doesn't seem to get it. I am sure this is the case for a lot of you right now. Whatever happens, just remember one thing. There is one great thing that can not be taken away from us and thats our memories of our great underdog team. We were the team that made team ball cool again. We were the team that challenged the super powers of the NBA. We were the team that played the game the right way. Most importantly, We were the team empowered by the loudest fans in the NBA, and for 11 straight seasons, we sold out every damn game.

ARCO ARENA was known for being the hardest place to steal a road win for one reason. You.

Win or lose, I am proud to call myself a Sacramento Kings fan.
 
Sucks but if/when the Kings leave Sacramento will probably NEVER get another major sports team in our lifetime. So whoever had a factor in moving them I give them the big middlefinger.

It's something I will never forget. I am like that as a person. I will hold that grudge against all of Sacramento Politicians including Kevin Johnson. I will never support anything that has to do with an arena in Sac after the fact. I will fight tooth and nail against any future arena proposition. We had our chance and we should not even try to waste money when we don't have anything to fill it.

Why hold a grudge against KJ? He has done everything he could do, but if the Kings leave, it is because he had been placed in a situation in which the hole had been dug too deep for him to get out of.
 
Sacramento is a straight dumb a** city. To not realize what an arena which will host multiple other venues besides kings games can do for the city is just plain retarded.
 
The problem is the people who are running Sacramento are the same people who were running it 30 or 40 years ago. There needs to be new blood in order for this town to live up to it's full potential.

Went with my wife to Oakland last night and saw Prince...what a freaking show!!! BUT...after $40 for gas, $35 for parking and 3 hrs total drive time...PLUS ticket cost...WOW what a hassle to enjoy a great concert! Sacramento has 1.5 million people with a crappy old arena that more and more events are canceling at...pathetic!! And we're about to lose THAT too...FREAKING pathetic!!!

Edit: DAMMIT, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER CITY OF SACRAMENTO!!!!
