What would you pay to see the Bulls at home?

I just spent the past several days in Chicago, and thought it might be cool to go to a Bulls game while I was there. Given how bad they have been I figgured tix would be no problem. Saturday night tye were playing the Clips and I thought if any game would be cheap and easy this would be it. So get this. The only thing available throught he box office were $80-$110 seats. Brokers had lots of tix but almost doubled the face asking $25 for $15 seats and so on. As it was I got tix to a great blues show for free, and decided that missing a who cares game like that was not a big deal but I honeslty had a hard time even justifying the money to see the Bulls and Clips so this begs the question, What would you pay?

i remember when i was much younger, my dad used to get kings tickets cheap. he works for the state, and they used to run a kings pool (now this was in the mid-90's) and ya got to pick and choose which games ya wanted to go to. the kings-bulls game was the most coveted, because if ya got that game, ya got to see michael jordan. my dad got that game one year, and we went. it was the one and only time i ever saw michael jordan play. i have fond memories of that game. but that was the bulls coming off a 70 win season. 2004 bulls are much less of a crowd draw, and never a draw in other cities for sure.

The Clippers are actually playing decently right now, eh...

but that scalper got some nerve. He must think MJ is still around.

Actually MJ played that night there. On top of that, he played really well and initiated comeback. ;)

nobody wants to pay high price to see the game...people don't want to spend more than 10-30 bucks to see this team...so all those tix are prolly long gone....whereas those high price tix are still up for grabs....::shakes head::

I would have dropped the $25 on the cheap seat.

I think its really cool to check out games in other venues, and for me, it would have been worth the $25 just to see how things get down in the United Center.

I agree with the desire to visit other venues, more so with base ball as their parks have more distinctive personalities, but it is still cool. Maybe next trip...

Well, and to be honest, I might be a BIT biased.

I've been a HUGE Jordan fan since 1985, so wanting to be in that building "just because" might play into it a bit for me.
