Blow-out for sure.

Us losing to the Warriors on the Klay shot was heart-breaking, but damn did the Kings play good, especially without Fox. I was proud of the Kings for that effort and a great game. As opposed to those Rockets game where we looked like the freshman squad trying to play with the nationally ranked varsity team and made me question why I follow sports in the first place.

We’ve come so far and are so close to being able to get where we want to go. I feel like we will likely get at least one of the pieces we’re missing before the close of the next trade deadline, and hopefully that will reduce the number of frustrating losses we have to endure.

How about a blowout on top of a super nova performance on a game 7 that you dropped 3k on for seats on a game that was over by halftime after a playoff drought for the ages and all the promise in the world blown to bits in one game? Does that count?

Everyone of the options is maddening.

But I selected the last one. Except, for me, I’d modify it as:

One (or more) opposing player scrubs goes supernova

For me, the most maddening way to lose is when Fox lets the ball roll on the inbounds when the Kings have the lead and you want the clock running. Bonehead amateur play.

Completely agree - DUMB! You have the lead and do not want opponent to have those extras seconds (sometimes 10+ seconds!) to have more time to set their defense. Wake up DeAaron! We love ya but stop copying what other do and think its cool and what you should do. Be smarter than the opponent. And stop the trash talking while walking up to charity stripe and bricking way to many times - DISTRACTED!!!

Wire to wire win where we lose in the final minute.

but really, any game where I watch the whole thing feeling pretty good and we melt down in the last minute.

...but the game clock does run after a made basket before the 2 minute mark, it's the shot clock that doesn't run

You are correct and I didn't notice it was prior to the 2-minutes. So it's just annoying in general vs. my original take.

He does that so they have the full shot clock to work with as far up the court as possible. Those 3ish seconds saved might occasionally make a difference.

I am not voting on any. You forgot to mention another reason:

The opportunity to win and grab the win only to let it slip away due to failed in multiple factors, that is the most disappoint way to lose.

I wouldn't say that was "forgotten," so much as it doesn't lend itself to being a useful poll option. Probably the closest usable option to that one that isn't already up there would have been, "Comeback falls short."
