What is the criteria of this section?

Apparently, Bill Walton retiring and Scott's firing are considered to have merit, but a topic created to discuss the 55 point outburst frome ROOKIE guard Brandon Jennings in a win over the Warriors is apparently unworthy of discussion. So, with that in mind, I would like to read exactly what the criteria is for a NBA MISC SECTION thread that has merit, and therefore I will be better prepared in my future posting endeavors. Thanks ahead of time.

Here's the criteria:

Somebody else brought it up first, in the CTDWAT. It's not a significant enough event to be discussing it two places at once.

If you had posted first, you'd have a case. But you didn't. And you don't. When somebody beats you to the punch by almost forty minutes, you don't get to whine about why you don't get your own thread.

But, in the interest of compromise...
