Webber News Conference

when the interview was over, he said "thank you guys. i love sac."

then i just started crying like a baby.

he looked so tense. at one point someone gave him a towel cause he was sweating like crazy. lol

i taped it. if no one can give a transcript now, i can do it towmorrow. :)

Yup very classy and he loves Sacramento as much as we loved him here, how much we loved his play and that he helped make the Kings a class org.

Oh man, this makes me miss him even more! He just basically talked about how Geoff told that he was going to like it in sac and Chris said he was right...He said he loves the fans here and he talk about the ad he put in the paper and how he meant what he said about loving the fans...He's so great! And he said nothing is going to ruin his time there tonight and all the memories he has from sac...

Why does he have to be so great?!?! It makes it even harder to see him gone..:)

Very good conference, and Chris looked and sounded very good. Some points that stuck with me:

- He said that it was him who placed that advert at the beginning of the season.
- He didn't want to get pumped for this game too much, he wants to keep his memories of time in Sacto as they were - the good times. (Now contrast that with Skinner and K9 who went ballistic on their former employers).
- He talked about phone converssation with GP and how he didn;t want to come to Sacto but once there didn't want to leave.

Overall, he appeared at ease and very open in his responses. Classy.

He closed by saying thank you and I love Sac.

when he said 'i love sac' at the end..i thought wow, this city really is something special...he said it very emphatically

I know...I started crying cause you can tell he really means what he said. He keep saying how he wished they got the win but you could tell it didn't really matter to him tonight...he was just happy to be back and see everyone.

It really is sad to see the end of an era as we know it. It was very nice to see how everyone on the team hugged C-webb before tip off. I didn't catch the post game but i would LOVE to see it if someone would be nice enough to upload it.
