Vlade Divac inducted into FIBA hall of fame

I always thought Oscar Schmidt of Brasil was greatest international basketball player never to play college or professionally in USA. NBA teams were drooling over signing him, but he stayed away to maintain amature status in an era where eligibility rules were were different for individuals playing on their national teams. At a rugged 6'8" he could shoot lights out like a Peja, but was very slashing strong to get inside and do big time damage. His defense and rebounding was also very strong - which is another way of saying he was better than Peja. If you're wondering, Google him and note what he did to NBA players and USA teams in the 80's - call it mostly dominate. Now Oscar joins Vlade in the FIBA Hall of Fame.

Oh, I almost forgot - congrats Vlade! But this nice selection almost seems like small potatoes for you since the Nobel Peace Prize would be the appropriate honor of honors for all your incredible humanitarian work.
