Viewing Party for Game 2

There are no official plans set for a viewing party from what I've been told. But that's not stopping us from gathering around a big TV and cheering on the Monarchs!

I have a reservation at the Riverside Clubhouse (the place that hosted the Olympic viewing party in 2004 to jog the memory of those who attended). If you are interested in attending I absolutely positively need a head count in the event we need a bigger part of their restaurant).

Game #2 starts on Saturday, August 25th, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. It will be shown on ESPN-2.

And yeah, I know it's a weird time to have the game start at such an early hour. Especially considering none of the other playoff games will be on ESPN-2 on that same day.

Follow Up PLEASE NOTE

...the good news is that we may now be brushing up against the capacity of the restaurant's ability to provide optimal seating near televisions. The bad news is that we may now be brushing up against the capacity of the restaurant's ability to provide optimal seating near televisions.


I have expanded the reservation to include all those who told me they were coming or might come and we may be a bit cozy...So if you are planning to come and have not spoken to me one way or another, please be aware that it may be a little snug and we will not all be in one place...and some not within good sightlines of their televisions. But it should be fun nonetheless. If you were there for the Olympics viewing party you know what I mean about that
If you don't mind that, by all means come on by. We need to close this series out!!
