1. As if you don't have enough things to think about already, this site is full of many, many more - like "Why are there black lines on a basketball?" There are categories galore - sports, animals, food, etc. Lots of oddball phrases, wacky quotes and questions that just make you go hmmmmm.
Gazillion things

2. Welcome to a site about medieval recipes for your 21st century kitchen. There are tons of recipes on this site, from medieval to renaissance cooking, and little something thrown in for you gentlemen chefs.
A Boke of Gode Cookery

3. This is a great site, especially if you like lavender. It has great lavender recipes, including: Lavender Crème Brulee, Lavender Focaccia, Lavender Hazelnut Bread, Lavender Jelly, Lavender Sorbet, Lavender Tea Cookies, Chocolate Lavender Cake, Lavender Lemonade, Melon with Lavender Syrup, Lavender Herb Bread, Lavender Potato & Leek Soup... You can also read about the different types of Lavender. As well as how to care, grow, and harvest Lavender. And the Lavender section is just a very small portion of this site. Spend some "thyme" and look around.

4. If you're a space buff, you'll love this site. It's...well, amazing. There's a special section for educators, too. And if you've never really understood the concept of Black Holes, you'll find a good explanation here.
Amazing Space

5. If you deal with the public in any way, you undoubtedly have your own little compendium of "stupid client quotes." Well, this site has a plethora of them.
Stupid client quotes

6. When I was a kid, we took a lot of family vacations that required us to travel for what seemed like forever in the car to get there. And, invariably, we would start seeing signs about "World's Largest Ball of Twine!" or other such great roadside attractions. Here's a site devoted to those larger-than-life creations that people just couldn't seem to avoid.
Larger than Life

7. What the site says about itself: "Fatherville is a website resource. It's for fathers...by fathers and about fathers and fatherhood. The goal of this site is to encourage men to become better fathers through the exchange of ideas that can take place in an online environment."
