UFL in Sacramento?

From the UFL website:
Redwoods took a 14-10 lead into the locker room before getting outscored in the second half on their way to a 3-17 defeat.
They must have some weird scoring formula in this league!:D

Neat.. Just another team that will go down the tubes in a couple years... I definitely will not be supporting this after getting my heart broken with the Surge, Gold Miners and Sac Attack... No more will I invest my time or money in these stupid fly by night leagues or teams.

What really needs to happen is this league(and there's been discussion of it) needs to work with the NFL on becoming a DLeague sort of thing. This california team needs to be a development thing where the 9ers, Raiders, and Chargers can send their young players down there in the summer on loan to get some PT. IMO anyway. NFL has always needed a minor league, just look at how many guys came from NFL europe, Arena league, or CFL. A LOT. Especially a lot of the undrafted QBs. Look at Warner and Garcia, Jeff Garcia was a CFL QB and Warner was a NFL Europe and Arena league player. Aubrayo Franklin of the 9ers was undrafted and played in NFL Europe I think. There are a lot of QBs who are undrafted who need a few years against lesser competition to develop and learn NFL offenses and stuff. The NFL needs a minor league bad IMO.

I was not really impressed by what I saw of this league last year and the fact that they schedule Saturdays gives me little incentive to watch vs college ball.

I don't think it's a bad idea, I just think it's not going to succeed, and I for one will not support it after having supported the three other teams only to see them fail. It's NFL or bust for me now :D
