17 and counting...

Just a quick note on the final day of the conference post season..um, well...season... Just finished watching ODU wrap up their 17th consecutive conference tournament championship in a very entertaining game that can be summed up in one word "runs" To say this was a game of runs would be an understatement. VCU went on a long run in the first half to put ODU down by 20 or so, ODU closed the half on a 14-4 run to close the half, and opened the second half with another long run to tie the game. Teams exchanged runs until ODU took control and made FTs down the stretch. 71-64. Their undefeated streak in conference tournament play stayed intact, they are now 50-0 in 17 seasons conference tournament games.

Congratulations to ODU and our twins on a fabulous conference season and tournament, to coach Larry on her 500th and 501st ODU career victories and best wishes in the NCAA!
