Just finished watching the Tennessee LA Tech game I recorded....Candace Parker essentially got the night off - she was nursing an ankle somethingornother as it was, but the Lady Vols had jumped LA Tech HARD...EARLY out of the gate it really didn't matter.

Some observations as the matchup with North Carolina looms...This is the 2nd time I've seen Tenn, they are freakishly BIG and athletic...good luck trying to match up with that. There was a long stretch of game where Summitt essentially let her freshman class take over and that of course meant Vicki B got extended minutes. She had a craaaazy night, I had been marveling her first block of the night, she would have 4 of them at game end. She was passing the ball (4ast, she would have had more if her freshman teammates finished better or at all - they started to get sloppy after a while), and scoring (6pts, she would have had more if not for the aforementioned sloppiness) and rebounding (16 freaking boards )...

all in 25 minutes of floor time....

go on girl!
