This year vs last year.

Section 101

All-Star
Last year they won 2 games in January. This year we won 2 games in January. Last year we 3 won games in February. This year we have won 2 games in February with 2 to go. Interesting part is the last 2 games last year was the Jazz and Clips as well, but the Jazz game was on the road. We did beat the clippers for the 3rd win.

Will be match last years record after January 1st?

Last year was 3 wins in March and 1 in April.

The wins pace is on par with last year for the 2nd half of the season. Deja vue all over again.

Except the young guys are playing this year vs a lineup last year that included almost all veterans. This year while we're losing we're learning and developing. Last year while we were losing we were wishing Natt would play the kids.

Its one thing to lose with:

Miller
Salmons
KMart
Mikki Moore
Udrih

which is what we ran last January

or even

Hawes
JT
Noc
KMart
Udrih

which is what we ran last february

Going into this February we're running:

Evans
Greene (or Cisco)
Casspi
Landry
Hawes (or JT)

we're younger and paying less money. There's room to grow with this team whereas last years team had limited growth potential especially with the guys that were playing. Additionally, last years' team was a lot more expensive.

so the differences:

1. we're younger and with more potential
2. We're cheaper and can add to the team via free agency
3. We're better since we've already won more games and had a legitimate star emerge.
