I think the Kings will win tomorrow at Seattle and I believe the series are still pretty much open. I feel a Game 7 will be played but I'm not that sure about our chances there though...
Players are professionals, so is the coach. They will focus on the upcoming game, not on the chances lost, I'm pretty sure of it. The main thing here is the Kings have the talent that keeps them leveled here, but it's the lack of discipline and composure that, when pops out, kills the momentum and the rhythm of the game totally...the way I see it, it all boils down to this, staying focused, on both ends of the floor. This is not about individual achievements/under-achievements, and I believe that shouldn't be the focal point of these series from our point of view...
I'd say the Kings need to find their identity now, are they gonna let this pass right by them or they have something to say about it. Somehow I believe they do have something to prove, to themselves first of all but also to all those that labeled them as a bunch of playoff underachievers early on. I don't doubt that for one second but the thing that I'm still not 100% on is can they stay focused during the entire 48 minutes ? If they can, they'll win the game, it's really that easy, at least the way I see it...
I wouldn't change much of the tactics Adelman deployed here, but I would like to see few more shots from our big guys. As for Allen, he ain't gonna break out for a consecutive playoff career-high night for sure but we oughta prepare for it anyway...
It'll be a close one, if we're mentally strong enough to keep up and stay disciplined till the last play, we should be in a good position for a steal..
