What does everyone (who cares) think of Steve Stone's resignation as Cubs broadcaster?

I was kind of excpecting it after all the comments that were made last week of the season. I think he was right in making those comments, but as a Cubs employee I guess it is not right to question managers decisions.

A lot of people were showing support to him at the last game against the Braves. I saw more signs supporting Steve Stone than Cubs :)
 
i think it is pathetic that the cubs put their faliures on steve stone. just because he made some comments that criticized the team for their poor play, doesn't justify the action of basically focing your color commentator out the door.:(
