Spurs after Elson

Rocky Mountain News - The Spurs search for a center has arrived at the door of Denver's Francisco Elson. Elson has played well versus San Antonio.

"They've inquired," Elson's agent, Calvin Andrews, said.

"I heard that, too," Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony said.

Andrews said two or three other teams, which he wouldn't name, have inquired about Elson,

I've been on board for this guy for awhile... would love to see us get him for back-up big. He's a bit underrated and would be better if he wasn't stuck in Denver the last couple seasons.

He'd be better than Collins/Kandi, maybe even Rasho.
