SportsPageMagazine.com Launches Website Upgrade

WATERBURY, Conn. (September 1, 2009) - SportsPageMagazine.com is proud to announce that its new, updated website is officially live as of Tuesday, September 1, 2009.

The new site will feature more sports categories than ever before, updated photo gallery features, the ability for fans to comment on articles and blogs, social networking sharing tools for all content, RSS feed capability, and increased content across the board.

"This upgrade has been in process for many, many months and in our hearts for several years, and we are thrilled to see it become a reality. We hope our friends, colleagues and fans will find it to be a significant improvement over our old site and another reason to keep visiting SPM," Mike D'Avino, the Managing Editor of SportsPageMagazine.com, said.

From its start in 2003 as a handful of committed individuals covering local Connecticut sports, SportsPageMagazine.com has grown steadily to a staff of well over 100 writers and photographers nationwide, covering amateur, college and professional sports.

The site is updated around the clock as information breaks from every major professional sports league in America and all of the conferences of the NCAA.

All of this compliments the scores of original and feature articles and blogs written by the staff each week and the comprehensive photo coverage SportsPageMagazine.com is known for nationwide. Its photo galleries are viewed by thousands on a daily basis.

SportsPageMagazine.com is a part of SPM Sports, Inc., a media company based in The Woodlands, Texas.

A quick follow up

Dear Friends,

I hope that you have had an opportunity to visit and check out our new Website. This took a long time in coming but we at SPM are very happy with the results and hopefully you are also. By expanding our publication this has created openings in our staff. So I kindly ask, if any of you may be interested in joining SPM we would be happy to have you. We need people to search for media releases or news, post items on our site or message boards, to look for sports for us to cover along with general stuff. We also need a copy editor, or graphics and design person and someone who understands Internet marketing. What is great about SPM is that you only contribute whatever time that you have. This can be one hour a day or one hour a week. For more information please email me at m.davino.spmsports@gmail.com

Many thanks,
Mike

Many thanks.

Thanks VF, trying to keep up with everything now is a challange but we'll get it right as time goes by. Finding people like Kecia and George to contribute their time is difficult but I understand that it is time consuming.
