Not the worst thing in the world. Davion has had a rough start to the season but generally plays quite a bit better as a starter. So hopefully this gets him going. Probably opens up a few more minutes for Duarte and or Jones as well.

This is an even deeper Kings team and getting lots of guys involved early in the season should pay dividends down the road. And it hopefully means De'Aaron doesn't get rushed back.

Yeah, the early returns on Javale/Sasha/Duarte have been excellent. We haven't seen Jones in the regular season yet, but he very much looked like he could absorb rotation minutes as well. My hope is this improved depth gives us opportunities to not run Fox and Domas into the ground or at least not rush them back from injury. I do think if we had given Domas off some time after he broke his thumb, that maybe could have paid dividends in the playoffs. Him being 6th overall in the NBA in minutes last year is just such a tough workload for a big guy to handle

Spears heard from someone that's even more optimistic about this injury, though i'm sure we'll be cautious.
