I’m always a little surprised folks like Shaq even bother with endorsements etc at this stage of life. He has enough cash for his grandkid’s grandkid’s grandkids to live off and more. At that point, I think I ride off into the sunset and only do philanthropic work or things I really want to do.

It's his grandkid's grandkid's grandkid's grandkids he's worried about right now.

Nah I prefer to invest in crypto.

And not quite a couple million dollars.

I've always been minorly annoyed he had an ownership stake.
Joe Pompliano’s bro, Anthony, is one of the biggest crypto investors/proponents in the world. That family could likely buy the Kings with their crypto holdings.

He's making more now in endorsements than he did playing.

There was a piece on Shaq a few years ago where he only endorses companies that he buys into. So there’s that component—less endorsing and more owning. Guess it’s his new sport.

agreed I just think at some point enough is enough.
I agree but until there is some kind of limit on it he may as well take advantage of putting his big dumb smile on anything he can touch. I'd say at least his economic pursuits aren't hurting anyone, but this is an online sportsbook so yeah. no.

can't believe it's been approximately 8 years since he bought a stake in the team. so is it true that once you make a lot of money its like an addiction that you just need more of?
Shaq was always trying to get into the club to hopefully get a shot at owning his own team.
