Sacramento represents in the 2021 Basketball HOF finalists!

Personal bias I'd like to see Webber in, the small hall side of me acknowledges that he is a fringe candidate but in the real world where the "let's admit 5 people every year" plays out surely he has to get in? I see lesser players touted as sure things. What gives? Sacramento? His early rep as a malcontent? The Michigan scandal? I feel like over the full length of his career he proved himself to be a really classy guy on and off the floor and he certainly had a 5-6 year run where he was one of the top 3 big men in the league behind only Shaq and Duncan. And hell the ring argument doesn't hold much water these days but almost everyone acknowledges there was something not right about 2002.

I've said this every year since Webber was eligible: his defiance in the wake of the Ed Martin scandal is keeping him out of the Hall of Fame. He's not getting in, until he makes peace with the rest of the Fab Five, and reconciles with Michigan.

The only way Webb gets in is if he goes on to Jalen's show and/or is in the front row of a Juwan Howard coached Michigan game.
