The Sacramento Kings announced on Thursday that the team has hired Monte McNair as general manager, according to a news release. In this role, McNair will be responsible for all decisions made in the Kings basketball operations department and serve as the team’s top basketball executive reporting to the owner and chairman. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
