If tonight’s performance is what were largely going to see all season (not necessarily the production, but the energy, hustle and leadership) — then I have no issue admitting that I was 100% wrong in not wanting any part of him.
 
Well I guess ill step out and stay i told you guys. West my favorite player. He has exactly what the Kings missing. Toughness, pride, competitiveness.

I just wish he was 5 years younger to enjoy things a bit longer.
 
For an aimless season, I'm just going to enjoy watching Russ. I was never the biggest fan, but he's really just a joy to watch. Even when he's bricking shots, the effort and intensity he puts out is really awesome. The last few years were a bit of a rough ride for him, but he's really playing like the old Russ right now. Maybe 80% of peak, without the same athleticism.
