The Bee, like many news outlets turned to $#/t a long time ago.

I’m glad to see this. The coverage was incredibly biased, and I admit I was very (pleasantly) surprised with the truth when it did start to emerge.

I w shared this before, but I graduated from sac state in 1999, but I walked in late 2001 w a buddy. The commencement speech was given by the then Editor in Chief of Sac Bee. She used that moment to chastise America and blame us for 9/11. It was gross. She got booed off stage. Then the Dean of Sac State, really old guy, berated us for booing and he got booed off stage.

Domestic violence and child abuse are horrific plagues on society and perpetrators should be punished to the full extent of the law. But when we start convicting and punishing people in the media before guilt is established it does no one any good.
