Talking of which from the sightings thread...Mikuni has lost a step esp w/ the downtown one. It's too loud. their fair oaks rest. is better even roseville is better than the downtown one. He's opening a new one called Taro's in arden mall.
Personally I like Izumi on 5 star blvd in Rocklin.
Waterboy, Scotts and Claim jumpers are personal faves.
For Chinese: Jumbo Seafood on Freeport Blvd, Simons a distant second. PF Changs is way too pricey for what it is.
