Red Sox Win!

Congrats to Red Sox fans. Reminds me of when the 49ers were winning Championships and the Giants were close.. Nothing compares to what these cats in the NE area have going though. Love it while you have it...

Congrats to the Sox and fellow Red Sox fans all over the world. I hate to admit it but this one really felt anti-climactic compared to 2004. I'd have really liked to see them get to celebrate on home turf, since I am 3000 miles away I can't even get tv coverage of their parade and I wanted to see what Papelbon was going to do after winning and all the other good stuff.

Apparently the Rockies owner believes the Rockies would take the next 6 if they played a 10 game series.
Monfort insisted after Game 4 of the World Series that the Rockies are a better team than the Boston Red Sox, a team that outscored them 29-10 in a four-game Series sweep.
...
"I think so," said Monfort. "How did we win 21 out of 22? We got the breaks. And I think they got the breaks. Are they a better team? I don't think so. You give us 10 games against them, we'll beat them six."

I agree that baseball isn't really a good tv sport. I mostly follow via XM radio when I'm in the car. Its just about the only sport I can follow over the radio and not feel like I've missed anything.
