Question About Breaking Ground for New Arena

I'm not sure if anyone on here caught it, but when one of the guys was speaking at the meeting last night , he was going through his powerpoint presentation and he was discussing the timelines and one line said,

Begin Construction April - June 2012.

Was that an error? because I heard that they wouldn't begin construction until next year??? Did the slide mean to say 2013?

Thanks in advance!

April - June 2013 in order to open the arena by Sept - Oct 2015.

Design begins in April 2012 and takes nearly a year. There are a lot of phases of reviews and approvals with the city, AEG and MS&E before final design.

May be it is a stupid question but I am gonna ask it anyway. Is there any real chance that this project can be canceled down the road by City Council? Lets say, based on new data or something like that ..

unless we're building our arena out of playdoh, there is no way it begins in April-June of this year.

Yea, I thought the same. I was just suprised he didn't acknowledge the error on the powerpoint slide he was showing everyone...
Now, I do know that the entire project will begin within the next 30 days, NBA.COM reported that...I imagine they are talking blueprints.
