Congratulations to Bballkingsrock for his commanding victory in the regular season. Once he got the lead, he just never looked back. Nice job, Bball!!!

I'll be posting the Playoff Rules later today. Please read them carefully as there are more categories to predict and posting for every game is extremely critical.

NOTE: If your name isn't listed above and you have participated in the prediction game during the year, you're still eligible to compete for the consolation prediction playoff title.

2005 Official Kingsfans Prediction Game Rules - The Playoffs!

Here are the rules of the game:

1. All predictions must be in by publicized start time.

2. Once you have posted your predictions, you cannot edit them. If you have made a mistake or an omission, send a PM to VF21 and she will make the correction. You cannot change your predictions because of late roster changes, etc.

3. You may only name one player per category.

4. Predictions in the FG%, 3 pt% and the FT% categories must be listed as whole numbers.

5. Prediction game results will be posted after the game. If you think your score is incorrect, send a PM to VF21 and include either a link to your prediction or the post #.

6. The OFFICIAL game thread will be started by VF21. All participants MUST follow the format exactly. If someone is going to miss a game, they should send their predictions via PM to VF21 - who will post them into the appropriate game thread.

7. The game will continue as long as the Kings are active in the playoffs.

(Totals are those of all the players combined and do not include any non-assigned items.) There are 14 categories. The source for statistics will be nba.com.

9. Scoring

Game Score: 1 point is awarded for predicting King's score. 1 point is awarded for predicting the opponent's score. 1 point is awarded if you predict the correct point spread. 5 points are given for correct scores of both teams.

Top Scorer: 1 point for name of scorer; 3 points for name and actual points scored.

Rebounds: 1 point for name of rebounder; 3 points for name and rebounds.

Assists: 1 point for name of assist leader; 3 points for name and number of assists.

Blocks: 1 point for name of top blocker; 3 points for name and number of blocks.

Steals: 1 point for name of top steals; 3 points for name and number of steals.

TO: 3 points

Field goal % - 3 points for exact percentage (rounded); 1 point if you are +/- 1 percentage point.

3pt %: 3 points for exact percentage (rounded); 1 point if you are +/- 1 percentage point.

Free throw %: 3 points for exact percentage (rounded); 1 point if you are +/- 1 percentage point.

Total Kings rebounds: 3 points for exact number, 1 point if +/- 1.

Total Kings assists: 3 points for exact number, 1 point if +/- 1.

Total Kings blocks: 3 points for exact number, 1 point if +/- 1.

Total Kings steals: 3 points for exact number, 1 point if +/- 1.

10. The winner(s) of any prizes will be determined by accumulated high scores.
