Nice way to rebound from a bad shooting night though.

yup.

However, this actually brings me to something that I've wondered about in a long time.....if nicole/kara/yo missed those shots (or fouled to prevent the basket) then the "assists" wouldn't have counted. Sometimes I think that's unfair to the passer. I mean, a good/great pass is a good/great pass, if the receiver bungles the play and the "assist" is lost, then the passer never receives credit for them.

In the Russian league that Ticha plays in each year, they have a seperate tally for assists vs "assists attempted", similar to free throws made vs free throws attempted. Wish that they did that in the WNBA as well...
