The Boston Celtics are trading Kristaps Porzingis to the Atlanta Hawks in a 3-team trade, league sources told @hoopshype. Porzingis and a second-round pick go to Hawks. Terance Mann and Atlanta's No. 22 pick to the Nets. Georges Niang and a second-rounder to the Celtics. pic.x.com/NzGxarLTvh

Decent buy-low for Zinger, but I doubt he's actually healthy, considering how low this price was.
Good get for BKN. Mann is a good player and got a FRP for just absorbing space.
Celtics get money, which is cool, I guess? Tearing down the 2 pieces that took them over the top has to feel pretty awful.

This is showing us possibly how the 2nd apron is going to work. I highly doubt the C's wanted to just straight dump KP. The truth was there was no way the C's were getting a straight dump of Holiday so it worked out the way it was going to. Again, reason 99 why cap flexibility could be the most prized asset moving forward.

so the Hawks gave up a first round pick and Mann for a guy that has an undiagnosed health problem, is chronically injured and is on an expiring deal?!? AND played for a team that HAD to trade him and let it publically known.

Maybe, this was happening regardless. Those players knew this was their last hurrah. Tatum going down just made it a tougher pill to swallow but now gives them an excuse. As for Brown, if they're smart they hold onto him if they are considering trading him at all. He could very well be leading the entire league in PPG at this point. If he's on the market though then THAT's the time to look into blowing up the future if you're Perry. Everything else is the Kings kidding themselves at this point.

It was rumored that San Antonio would give up castle and number 2 for Giannis and brown if that’s the case Boston should do that over keeping brown. Tatum would come back to a team with two young stars and Derrick white possibly a lottery pick this year as well
I’d also throw the kitchen sink at brown… Carter and like 4-5 firsts

If Brown is putting up 35 per and these pointless lateral moves we're seeing flop then the world will still be their oyster.

They gave up "the minivan" also.
Porzingis will also play in the forthcoming European Championship with Latvia so even bigger risk for him to be injured before the start of the next season.
