Amongst those three division winners, the best record gets seed 1, next best gets seed 2, and worst record amongst division winners in conference gets seed 3. Seed 4-8 are given by record to teams regardless of division. Tiebreakers apply when records are equal.

Home court advantage is given to team with better record (tiebreakers also apply if necessary) regardless of seeding.
