Playoff Tickets?

I heard somehwere that they aren't billing season ticket holder for all playoff tickets in advance. They had first dibs, but it wasn't mandatory. They pick and choose which one's they wanted. Something like that at least.

I think they were only billing them one series at a time instead of for all four 7-game series, including Finals, up front.

That is correct. In an effort to retain season ticket holders next year, they are relaxing the billing on this year's tickets so you don't have to pay thru the finals up front.

I just received an offer to purchase up to 4 playoff tickets, since I am a Monarchs Season Ticket Holder. I purchased 2 seats. They charge 1 round at a time. This was offered prior to going on sale to the public.

Obviously a lot of season ticket holders didn't pick up their option for playoff tix this year. Season ticket holders were also offered the opportunity to purchase up to 4 EXTRA playoff tickets in addition to their season tix. THe last time they did this was when the Kings played the Jazz in the first round in 1999. Since then, season ticket holders have been strictly limited to their number of season tickets.

The Kings must really be hurting - why else would they constantly be advertising their "Season tickets waiting list" during broadcasts? Because the waitlist is about as long as you have to wait to get connected to a sales rep!!

I don't think that is necessarily true. The waiting list offer could simply be to remind people that there is a list...and of course to hedge their bets if not many renew. :p

I just went to ticketmaster.com like they said on tv and they are not on sale yet. ?

Try going through the Kings.com site. Don't know if that will help.

I went to the kings web site, and they don't mention playoff tickets going on sale. I did hear on the game tonight that you could go to www.ticketmaster.com and get tickets, which I did, but could not find any. I would just go to Arco arena and get them, save the service charge. :). 6th, you say you got 2 tickets. Any chance you could hook me up with a couple? :D

If you go to the ticketmaster link at kings.com and put the number of seats you want, and the amount you want to pay, there are tickets there. I just got some. The key is putting in the amount you want to pay, if you just put in "best available" you will get $800.00 tickets, if you just put upper or lower levels it says "no tickets that meet your search criteria". Hope that helps.

What days are the games? It is hard to get a day off from work when you dont know what day to get off to go see them.

Wish I knew when they will be. I am sure that someone will post the schedule as soon as it becomes available.

Where is Section 101 Row AA? Is that the first row or up a ways? Across from the visitors bench or Kings bench?

Sec 101 is across from the Kings bench. Row AA is down near the bottom...behind the chairs, I believe.

Good find, that's what I was looking for. I know Staples Center like it's my own house but all this AA and Kings Row and I got all confused.

I'm considering these tickets instead: Section 103, row KR3
