16 times had over .400 on base %
4 times had over a .500 on base %
1 time had over .600 on base % (which is stunning in itself)
8 seasons with 40+ homers
14 seasons with 30+ homers
11 seasons batting over .300
9 seasons had 30+ SB
3 seasons had 40+ SB
1 season had 50+ SB

I still cant get over the on base % over .600 is that some kind of record?

You forgot one stat. At least 8 if not 9 of those seasons he was on steroids and possibly growth hormone. And THAT will FOREVER be the legacy of Barry Bonds.

Steroids or not, he is one of the greatest players EVER.

Albert Pujols has another 10-12 years left in him. I have a feeling that he will be the next big thing in baseball.

.331 lifetime BA (5 seasons)
.418 lifetime OBP
201 HR in 5 years.
621 RBIs in 5 years.

Lets say he plays a total of 15 years. (projected stats after 15 years)
.330 BA
.440 OBP (he gets more walks later on)
603 HRs
1863 RBIs

He would be 36 years old. Lets say he plays another 4 years than retires..
764 HRs
2360 RBIs

It looked like perfect TDOS discussion fodder. Who are the greatest ever in the MLB? Who are the future greats?

I'll hope this doesn't turn into another discussion of Barry Bond and steroids use because that's been done to death IMHO.

Instead, let's hear about who you MLB fans think the current and future greats are...
