It's good to see that we got Erin signed, but I'd figure we would sign Maiga before we sign Erin. Maybe we're taking a really good look at La'Tangela Atkinson?

Yeah about Erin Being signed. I love what she bring to the Table as well.

As far as Maiga is concerned...

I like Maiga as a person. I think she is wonderful and learned. Not to many people can speak multiple languages. With that being said...

I wouldn't bring her back unless she has demonstrated drastic improvement. And by her stats she really hasn't. I mean she looks fine, as far as fine goes. But I think Bobby Knight really said it best on his reality Show.

If you don't know much about Knight School, 16 kids are trying out to get a scholarship for his Texas Tech team. And he put them thru some grueling Boot camp sort of stuff. The show I am refering to is Sunday night's show.

He had to cut his group from 8 to 6. The one kid he cut had really good skills and a great attitude but he was just undersized. Knight felt bad about that cut in particular. But the other cut was a Big Boy with solid skills. He was one of the best prospects coming into the competition.

But Knight cut him. Why???

Because he didn't show an ability to improve.

And that is my issue with Maiga. She really hasn't shown an ability to improve.
I look at the Drastic improvement of DWalk just from last year to This year. Every year she seems to come back with a new skill. Bekkah seems to be on course. Kara seems to be coming along.

With Free Agency, and the Talent coming out of college it seems like there are players that can bring solid Defense and bring an offensive game as well. And will give bang for the Buck.

I think Erin could be a defensive spark plug too. But I think she needs to show that offensive comfort level too.

Now maybe I am wrong. It wouldn't be the first time. I know Coach Whiz loves those Defensive stoppers. As we all do. But this is business. We need a solid back up for Nicole and for Kara, people with offensive skills.
