After a quick start by the Liberty, the Shock started playing like defending champions, taking an eleven-point lead at the half, and leading by as much as seventeen in the third quarter, but Janel McCarville and Shameka Christon have put the Liberty on their backs, and carried them back to a tie, with less than three minutes to go.

They came so close, great game by the LibKids. They just couldn't make the play at the very end. McCarville and Christon were huge in the comeback. Pierson came up with some big plays for Detroit in the final minutes. Her defense on McCarville and Kraayeveld was huge on those last two attempts to tie.

Gotta agree MB...It was a great game...what a comeback & would have been a stunner. I just hope The Liberty still has the mental toughness to get past
The Shock at home in game 3. I was so wanting them to get that game today.
Sorta reminds me of our Monarchs, trying to close out on the road.

Damnit. The LibKids were SO close!! I didn't get to watch any of the game, but I have been listening to the streaming radio at work. They took Detroit to the brink of elimination two games in a row and just couldn't get over the hump. I was really hoping NY would advance, but now it's an easy decision who to root for in the East. Go Fever!

Saw just the last 2 minutes...the Liberty had a chance. They blew a few easy lay-ups & just couldn't catch a break. Macarville had a chance to tie the game on free throws, she made one & then missed. Game over.
Dissapointed again back to back...first my Monarchs then the Liberty.
I'm gonna give up on sports;)

Well I want Silverstars & Indiana...

Golleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......sigh.....Nice run by the Libs...

Fever is about the only team right now whose name I can say in a sentence and not have the words "I hate the" and "right now" in close proximity. Should they not advance out of the East, I'm anticipating the sentence scramble will include the words "everybody" "and" "nobody" "I" "hate" "want" "win" & to"
