NWSL reportedly adding 12th team in Sacramento

Sacramento is poised to join a Los Angeles-based expansion announced last month. The group, temporarily called Angel City, is backed by a star-studded ownership group including actress Natalie Portman and former U.S. women’s national team stars. It will begin play in 2022.
