This message is a TV reminder that the #1-ranked University Of Tennessee (Lady Vols) will play against the #2-ranked Duke University (Blue Devils) on Monday night, Jan. 23rd, 4:30 p.m. Pacific time. It will be held in the Blue Devils' arena, whatever their name is.

The game will be televised on ESPN-2.

This one should be a barn-burner! :)

Should be a great game! Interesting to watch the WNBA prospects in this game (Zolman and Fluker for Tennessee, and Williams for Duke) Hopefully we have some scouts out there.

I have the cheapest cable package, which doesn't include any of the ESPN channels, so I didn't see the game last night.

But judging from what I read in the newswire reports, I am really suprised that Duke dismantled the Lady Vols the way they did. Summitt even called her leading scorer, Shanna Zolman, a "non-factor". Zolman didn't play all that well earlier this month, against UConn, either.

So, congrats Lady Blue Devils. Actually, I was hoping for Duke to win, if only because I like seeing #1-ranked teams being upset.

But I'm sure it will give the Vols some motivation in case if they meet Duke again in March Madness.

From the sound of things during Summitt's press conference after the game, the Lady Vols aren't going to need any motivation.to not get their lunch handed to them like that again by anybody. Glad I'm not partaking in a Tennessee practice today.

Ugly game...

No Doubt about that...

What in the world happened to Shanna Zolman. The outside game was non-existant. The Defense held for awhile, but the Offense... Yikes!!! The Great Pat Summitt Looked none too pleased during the game.

The looked really tired. A step slow if you will. And I have never been one that thought losing was good. But if there was ever a case of a productive loss this was it.

Takes the pressure off of being undefeated. Remindes them that bringing "Your A game" is nessesary at all times. And that Nobody wants to be in practice the day after a game like last night.

I still would like to draft Zolman.

Yes, it was very lopsided. I would imagine that nobody --- not even the Duke players --- expected that game to be so one-sided.

Did the Lady Vols play a game just two days prior to the one against Duke? Perhaps that might explain why Luv13 thinks the Vols looked slow and tired.
