[NEWS] Fans to the very end... and beyond?

"Fans get 25 years in the turf and can choose from a range of burials: ashes in an urn from 2,500 euros ($3,150), a single grave at 8,000 euros and a two person plot at 12,500 euros."

what the hell happens after 25 years?
they dig you up and give you back to your surviving relatives? County landfill?

Pretty much.

At Pere-Lachaise in Paris, plots are often rented for 30-40 years, after which the remains are transferred to another cemetery. Often, the graves are left undisturbed even after the lease is up, but Pere-Lachaise is reportedly counting the days until they can move Jim Morrison elsewhere.

New way tohelp fund the New Area... sell interments under the building! "Kings Catacombs" Heck it's not like it would be the first Arena in Sacramento built on graves... and with FANS under the court it could be GOOD Ju-Ju this time. ;)

Please the ONLY appropriate exit to leave Jim's reamains at would be the BACK DOOR.

I wonder where Howlin' Wolf is buried? Chicago?

I don't know about Sacramento, but I'd bet that a Packers burial plot under the stadium would go over well in Green Bay.

In years past (actually BEFORE the internet... gasp) I used to read cecil ALL the time (in the city paper, and I had a couple of his paperbacks), but I actually haven't read him that much recently... just sorta lost touch.

But lo-and-behold, when you google "napoleon's penis" cecil still comes to the rescue! <yet again>

Celt, I live in Virginia now, but when I first was wasting time in KT, I was living in Davis trying to find ways to avoid writing my dissertation.
