Yeah, I was cheering like crazy for Bucknell to beat Kansas. That was their 1st (ever) NCAA tournament victory. Sometimes I just like cheering for the underdog. :)

I saw the Bucknell and Kansas game too. Exciting game. Kansas had a chance to win too.

Too bad for Scot Pollard and Tag's team...

i like rooting for the underdog as well... i got a bunch of money picking the red sox in the series, if that backs up that statement... but i deffinetly wasnt rooting for Bucknell, and especially not Vermont... I had Kansas in the Elite 8 and Syracuse in the Final Four... :) lol... happy for those teams, but i sure would have liked to NOT have 'cuse lose

I have 2 major upsets picked in the 2nd round.

In the Albuquerque bracket I have Pacific taking out the #1 seed, Washington. Okay, I admit this one is emotional only.

In the Syracuse bracket I think that Iowa St will beat the #1 seed, North Carolina. Iowa St has been playing some really good ball. NC has been okay, but not that great. Also, I am sick of the media gushing over NC.

BTW - In the 1st round of 33 games (including the Oakland/Alabama A&M), I am 27-6 with my picks.

UConn is about to get upset by NC State
Yep! UConn lose to NC State.
I have a friend that's a UConn fan and she's very upset right now.

I have Kentucky winning it all
I hope so!!! They have a player there named Chuck Hayes. He's from my hometown Modesto...so I'll rooting for him and his team!! Go Kentucky! (This is also Erik Daniels team!)

But I'm sad that Pacific lost! :(

Hmm, so you're rooting for Illinois, the once-defeated team, and for the underdogs...

I smell an ulterior motive :)

LOL---that is a good point.

Seriously, it was really something to see those kids, not only play in their first NCAA tournament, but to actually knock off a much higher seed.

As far as Illinois goes, been a fan for years. Of course living about 65 miles away from U of I, and having several relatives who are alumni, might have a little something to do with that.

I'm rooting for Duke. J.J. Reddick is one of the best shooters I've seen in a long time (besides peja). Normally I'd be rooting for Maryland but they're Not In Tournament.

My Fighting Illini (and sloter's ;) ) are moving on to the Elite 8. They lead by 14 with 38sec left. All 5 starters in double figures. Final 77-63.

GO ILLINOIS!!

#1 Duke lose vs Mich St.
Thanks for the info, Twix. So 2 of the #1's will not make it to the Elite 8, much less the Final Four.

Now, I wait to see what NC can do against Villanova.

WOW surprised to hear about Duke, I heard the start on the radio and thought they had that game in hand.

6th FYI, although I am a ILLINOIS hater in general (I mean anything that has to do with Illinois : ) I am pulling for your team. Gotta keep it in the Big Ten. It will be nice to see Illinois win it this year so then the Big Ten gets 2 championships in a row (cause next year the Hoosiers are gonna take it)

(I hate Michigan as a state even more so I hope Mstate goes down)

LOL....thanks for the support. However, I am a little confused. If you are a Hoosier, and we are neighbors, why the hate for Illinois? I love the Hoosiers, just not as much as the Fighting Illini. I am guessing it is the Big 10 rivalry. I don't let that get in the way of my neighborliness.
