The Bobcats (28-33) raced to a 28-8 lead after one quarter and never trailed the rest of the way, although the Pacers got as close as three at one point late in the second quarter. Trade deadline acquisition Evan Turner scored 22 points for the Pacers (46-15) but they lost a second straight game to see their Eastern Conference lead trimmed to 1.5 games over Miami.
