Anyone watch the Daytona 500 that kicks off the Nextel Cup's new season? I watched the Craftsman Truck race on Friday, Busch Series race on Saturday, and the Daytona 500 on Sunday.

Racing is back. Woohoo!!! :)

BTW - I was glad that Burney Lamar, from West Sac, did so well in helping his teammate (Tony Stewart) to victory in the Busch. Burney finished 2nd in only his 3rd Busch race. Great job!! And, I was thrilled with Jimmie Johnson's Daytona 500 victory. I am a Hendricks Motor Sports fan.

That was a great race. I was cheering for the local boys. Too bad Mike Skinner from Susanville didnt make the 500. Vellejo's Jeff Gordon had a bad day. Hopefully hes just getting the bad luck out the way.

L.A's Jimmy Johnson situation is interesting. Hardcore southern fans are hitting him hard. Saying hes a cheater. Although any knowledgable racing fan knows every team cheats its just that some teams go over the line trying to win and get caught.


Was nice to see Ken Schrader(I know I butchered that) get a 9th place finish when after the restart with 2 to go he was in 30th.

Off to Fontana!


Dave Despain's show is only 1 hour now!!. Dag Nabbit!! I love that show. 1 hours not enough. I need my racing fix!!

Ok I feel better now.

btw... Danica's season starts in a few weeks.
