Monarchs notes: Buescher gets bonus for three

Erin Buescher's desperation three-pointer to beat the shot clock during Sunday's 89-69 victory over the Detroit Shock will earn her a cash prize from Yolanda Griffith.
Griffith has been known to reward her teammates with money and to do a little friendly betting as well.
"I've wanted to get a cash prize for two years," Buescher said.
Buescher said her teammates got a good laugh at her one-handed heave during a film session.
"They're calling me 'the ice skater' and 'ballerina,' " she said.
Who gets most of rest? -- Both teams pondered who would benefit most from 2 1/2 days of rest between games.
Griffith said it would have been nice to keep the momentum going following Sacramento's victory.
Detroit coach Bill Laimbeer said the rest will allow his team to prepare mentally.
"There is a lack of intense focus from our ballclub," Laimbeer said.
