Monarchs Clinch Playoff Berth In 2005 WNBA Playoffs


The Sacramento Monarchs have announced that the team has clinched a playoff berth in 2005 WNBA Playoffs. Tickets for the Monarchs first round home playoff games (Game 1A and 1B) will go on sale Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 12 p.m. (noon). The official date, time and opponent of the first round game 1A will be announced as soon as it is available, closer to the end of the regular season...

I didn't know they was doing this good. thats My bad though :( Anyways sounds like they might get a ring before the kings do, which would be ok with me. i just hope they both get some rings soon :) Go Monarchs

While I really really like their chances this year, there is a long road yet to travel before we schedule the parade. They themselves only talk about the next game on the schedule. To look further ahead is dangerous. I, for one, do not want to jinx their chances. ;)

Exactly. And the kind of attitude that the M's are displaying right now is key to getting a championship!

Congratulations to this team for a wonderful season thus far and for clinching their playoff spot and hopefully by week's end their securing the top seed in the west and their march towards securing homecourt throughout the playoffs!! This has been a fun ride so far and I want to continue it deep into September!!

There is still a looooooooooooooooooong way to go before anybody gets sized up for rings East or West.
