Mo Evans Falls Hard

Mo Evans hit the floor very, very hard. Are there any updates on his condition, for those listening in Sacramento?

I'm watching the post-game show now. I'll let you know. Koz and Kara are talking about it. Koz said again that there was bleeding out of his ear. That scares the crap out of me...

RA on the incident:

Unbelievable. Greg is okay - 5 stitches. Mo is getting stitches in his head right now. Spit the skin right open; probably some kind of concussion also. Hopefully he'll be okay. I don't know what the prognosis is...

me too

Adelman says it was a pretty good cut and he's getting stitches. Adelman also states he could have suffered a concussions.

Get better Mo!

To repeat: Mo's skin split right open and he's receiving stitches right now.

Darius says:

He thought it was a cheap shot for two Jazz to go up against Mo like that. Thought they had no chance to block the shot. Hopes it's just a cut and nothing more serious.

Koz and Kara think it was a flagrant foul but that they weren't trying to clothes-line him or take him out of the game.

Oh no. I thought the ear bleeding was just a first impression... but it looks like that was true huh?

Since RA said the skin split wide open above the ear, I think that was where the blood was coming from. Again, he got up and left the court on his own power and that's very important. I think it was blood coming down and appearing to come from the ear... and I'm praying that's the case.

That sure is how it sounds...Hopefully its just stitches and a really bad headache.

What a physical game .... there was a heckuvalot of contact in tonite's game.

It was also a physical game when we last played Utah. it seems like whenever we play the Jazz the kIngs are more aggressive and go to the basket more often which is great. :D

I hope he didn't have a serious concussion too. Just about the same thing happened with me. I had a really long concussion and I had to have stitches a couple years back because I hit my head while doing a tip in and some huge kid smacked me down kicking me off balance. I had 12 stitches (It was from my cheek to a couple inches from my ear) With those stitches, it could take up to 2-3 weeks to recover, God willing his concussion isn't too serious.

It's seems like everytime the Kings play Utah, someone comes out more banged up than normal.

Such a nasty fall, we are praying for you, Mo!!!

I could not watch the replay of the incident because my eyes would squint everytime.

It's no wonder Jazz leads the league in cheap shots. "If you've got no talent, just hurt the other team" seems to be the motto for them.

stitches and concussions are bad and all but i like them alot better than i do sprained ankles and torn miniscus's's's's's's

Jazz always plays physcial, that's why.

I hope Mo gets better. Poor Tag, injuried his lips and can't kiss his wife. :( Hehe.

Geez, every game against the Jazz, we need a MASH unit. At least nobody's foot accidentally found their way under Webber's this time.

My God, that was scary. Could have heard a pin drop. He didn't move for a long time, and when it's the OPPOSING team waving frantically for the team medic to come onto the floor, it strikes real fear into you. Get well, Mo.

Sloan's always taught aggressive play. Most know that, but it's just strange how it keeps happening anyway

NME does have a point about Utah's feet though, for once no one landed on them.

Oh my, I just saw an up close version of it. My head hurts just watching it. Like Kingsgurl said, you could hear a pin drop in the arena. News10 said it they said it "was like a shark bite, about 6 in long" and "some type of concusion." Get well Mo!

That was one of the scariest things I have seen in this game. I hope he isn't seriously hurt b/c this guy is earning a starting spot in my eyes. Dang this sucks! He'll have a gnarly scar for sure.
