Missed one of the biggest weeks can someone help

i missed ths week being on holiday with no WIFI

Westpaul is gone why???

Cousins what went on there???

games how did we do???

please help...

1. Westphal pick your reasons form
a. Wacky Zany lineups (jimmer on batum!?)
b. No plays (isolation basketball)
c. No growth in terms of players
d. Cousins (got into a screaming match with Him)
e. Blowouts
F. All of the above (I'd go with this)

2. Cousins - he "demanded"to be traded cause of him not seeing eye to eye with coach westphal. must have said it in the heat of the moment and now other teams probably would be asking preparing to lowball the kings if it were true thankfully not

Games
Against Lakers - AWESOME beat them silly
Against Portland - Horrible Loss
Against Chicago - Decent enough but still a loss
Against New York - With out STAT we still lose
Against NOH - We won.. good bounce back game
Against Memphis - We lost bad (Start of the back to back to back games here)
Against Denver - We lost so bad the last game coach westphal will ever coach
Against Bucks - a great comeback and debut for keith Smart also chuck hayes injury, a perfect time to call in the SWAT team aka hassan whiteside

so our record stands 3-5 middle of the Western Conference, if keith smart can improve this team even further and he live up to what he is saying then its all good for the kings

we beat them during our blackout promos the back in black jerseys... we need to see those jerseys again or just when we face the lakers. , westphal was bad this year

smart in his first tenure from what I saw was more spacing and ball movement, i saw less on on one ball going around, tyreke passed and I was shocked to see him and MT pass on a fast break to a flying JJ hickson. tyreke or even MT would have layed that sucker up or drew a foul..

also they worked on both ends of the court. if smart can talk his walk well be a good team thats for sure.

that was a massive win against the lakers just cause they are the lakers and to send them 0-2 was sweet.

Part of it was simply that the players put out more energy when Smart took over. The players didn't seem to like Westphal and player revolts have been part of Westphals past.

Smart gives the impression of being a better leader. At least he is verbal and Westphal frequently seemed at a loss for words. There is more of an air of confidence about Smart that Westphal didn't have. There is no way of knowing if the switch to Smart will have a lasting effect but with Westphal as a coach, it seemed guaranteed the final record would be a disaster.

well i hope we can get back in the game and he can lead this team to a decent victory...

do you think we will haveany big trades this season

I truly hope Smart keeps this up. I don't mind losing I just want our team to compete and be fun to watch... not all that iso game under westphal.

I was wondering under whom did Smart learn from what notable headcoaches? i hope he brings in a lil bit of that knowledge with him

I do know he was under don nelson before.. oh dear I hope its not another smallball line up though

I would personally like to see Salmons traded. He clogs up our offense. I've never liked him. Otherwise, who knows? Our team is unpredictable as the guy who makes trades, Petrie, never gives out clues as to what he is thinking of doing. Right now the biggest challenge is to get the team to play. We just lost Chuck Hayes, starter, to a shoulder dislocation so maybe we might trade for a big guy but we might do OK without him for a month. It is a rare season where any team can make it through the season without losing a very important player to injury.

Smart has already given credit to Don Nelson.

Who would take salmons? that is the problem... at this point I'd like to see Greene at the 3. wonder who's available... or maybe see what honeycutt is made of... God I've never seen a shot salmons didn't like... only time he should shoot is when he is really open and is spotting up for a shot not with him holding the ball dance with it then take that silly mid range of his.

What makes Salmons difficult to move now is his contract, he still has 3 years left on his deal after this season is over I believe.....http://hoopshype.com/salaries/sacramento.htm

Doesn't matter if we amnesty him this summer, which I expect we'll do. But in theory, that is a bad contract for someone his age with his current production. Even worse when considering we're paying over 13M to Salmons and Cisco combined. And it gets even worse when we see we're paying Salmons, Cisco, and Outlaw 16M+ this year, and they're all on contract next year as well.

One of the reasons I question our FO.

Another way to get rid of Salmons is to trade him for another bad contract player who would be a better fit. Hedo, anyone?

Hedo's playing well for Orlando right now. Highly doubt they'd trade their distributor. Our defense wouldn't get any better with Hedo. We're best off looking for consolidation of talent trades but I'm not sure we'll see anything until Keith Smart feels like he knows what he's working with
