Well...You have to love the passion right?

In seriousness, though, from the little thats happened with the post-Erickson Niners' I'm beginning to like whats happening. York seems to be a little less concerned with dolling out the big ones, and these coaches may be a fixture for years to come. I'm liking the new guys.

What do you guys all think about that?

Maybe someone should tell him he has to get a O-Line, RB, QB, and some WRs first .....
O-Line: A returning Jeremy Newberry, a pro-bowl center, and Jonas Jennings, the best tackle in free agency.

RB: Maybe Barlow can return to his form of 2 seasons ago.

QB: Arron Rogers or Alex Smith.

WRs: Brandon Lloyd, full of potential, Rashaun Woods, has some potential, Arnaz Battle...okay, we still don't have anything in the recieving area.

If everything falls into place I think they can win the NFC West in 3-4 years.

Jonas Jennings is not a very good player. No offense. He's average, not worth the heavy money spent on him. He's lazy and generally doesn't finish his blocks in the running game. Newberry is real good, though. Ya'll should probably have waited on Jennings, so that you could've traded down and gotten Alex Barron out of Florida State. He'll be a much better player as rookie than Jennings, and you still could have addressed quarterback in the second round with Andrew Walter, Matt Jones, or Charlie Frye, all of whom will be better than Aaron Rodgers, and likely Alex Smith. That would have given you a shot at Vernand Morency in the third, and in the fourth, Dante Ridgeway would be a great value pick at receiver. Rashaun Woods has a ton of potential as an NFL player, but he needs to have a solid number one. Lloyd could become that guy.

Meh, I know absolutley nothing about him besides the articles I've read saying "Best free agent tackle." He'll be better than whoever he replaces, though, thats for sure.

I cannot say how much I hate the Niners - Of course I am a Cowboys fan. A team that actually has a chance this year :) LOL J/K depends how our QB situation pans out.

Donahue is the Gary Saint Jean for the Niners. TDon is a horrible GM...

Jonas Jennings wasnt the best tackle availble, or even offense linemen availble , the GM really got his hand forced .... why not go after proven Line such as McKenzie or Rivera, Barlow was a bust, the guy couldnt hold on to the ball if his life depended on it... No QB, not to mention a rookie, will be able to stand that pocket with the only one offensive line man actually blocking for him... Lloyd and Woods havnt proven anything yet.... All this means, its rebuilding mode .

Which is why it's good he was fired and Scot McCloughan brought in. From what I've read, he and Nolan seem to really be on the same page. I guess we'll be able to judge how much of an improvement they are (or aren't) over Donahue at the end of the season.

Mike Nolan's goal: to be less of an embarassment than he was when he last was a head coach (the Redskins).
Mike Nolan has never been a head coach before. His father Dick coached both the Niners and the Redskins though.
